Meet the Mojo ’59 PAF

Everyone says they make a “vintage-correct” PAF… but let’s be honest, most of them really don’t.

The Mojo ’59 PAF is different. This pickup was built by obsessing over the tiny details that actually matter — the stuff that usually gets skipped.

The covers are made right here in the UK, reverse-engineered from real vintage examples. The pole holes are slightly pulled, the thickness is spot on, and there’s none of that ugly flaring you see on so many modern covers. In fact, all the metal parts are made in the UK — from the baseplates right through to the pole pieces.

Under the hood, it’s just as serious:

• USA-made butyrate bobbins

• Machine-wound with Elektrisola 42 AWG plain enamel wire (made in the USA), using correct vintage-style turns per layer

• Custom-cloned roughcast Alnico 5 magnets, formulated from real vintage magnets

• Nickel silver covers with copperless plating and correct dimpled pole screw holes

• Nickel silver baseplates

• Correct alloy poles and slugs

• Maple spacer

• Vintage-style braided two-strand hookup wire

Specs-wise, you’re looking at 7.3k for the neck and 8.3k for the bridge, giving you that sweet, open vintage clarity with the right amount of punch.

Long story short: this isn’t a “vintage inspired” pickup.
It’s a no-corners-cut, properly thought-out take on what a real ’59 PAF should be.
