Let’s Talk Tone.
Drop Marc a line at the Mojo Workshop.
Mojo Pickups isn’t a faceless factory or a massive warehouse. It’s a one-man obsession based right here in the UK.
I’m Marc Ransley, and I’ve spent more years than I care to admit measuring vintage magnets, chasing the perfect wire tension, and obsessing over the tiny details that make a pickup sound like “the one.” Every single Mojo pickup is bench-made by me with one goal: vintage-correct soul that doesn’t cut corners.
A Quick Note on the “Old Dog & Bone”
You’ll notice there isn’t a phone number listed here. I’m sorry about that, but I’ve had to make a choice: I can’t wind and talk at the same time. I used to give the number out, but I quickly found I was spending more time on the blower than I was at the workbench. To make sure your pickups get the 100% focus they deserve (and to keep my lead times from spiralling!), I handle everything via email. It means I can check specs, look at photos of your project, and give you a proper, considered answer once the soldering iron is turned off.
Properly UK Made
I’m a firm believer in doing things the right way. That’s why I source as many parts as possible from right here in the UK—from custom-made bobbins to specific metalwork. If it isn’t good enough for my own guitars, it’s not going in yours.

Response times: I’m usually at the winding machine or elbow-deep in a vintage assembly during the day. I’ll get back to you as soon as I’ve put the tools down for a brew.
Note: If you’re asking about a specific guitar or a custom project, the more detail the better. Let’s get your tone sorted.
