Authentic 60s Construction

To get the “right” sound, you have to use the right methods. These are machine-wound using 42AWG plain enamel wire, meticulously replicating the vintage turns-per-layer found in the most coveted mid-60s units.

By machine-winding, we achieve the specific coil consistency that gives these pickups their signature “cluck” and harmonic richness.

The Secret is in the Cover

Most modern P90s come with thick metal covers that can sometimes damp the high-end. We’ve gone a different route. Our custom-made plastic covers don’t just look the part; they actually increase treble response. By removing the metallic interference, your tone stays open, glassy, and incredibly touch-sensitive.

Tailor Your Tone: Alnico 3 or 5

We offer these with 49.2mm spacing for both neck and bridge, featuring your choice of Alnico magnets to suit your playing style:
