Calibrated for Performance

We don’t believe in “one size fits all.” This set is custom-tuned using two different wire gauges to ensure perfect tonal balance and volume parity between your toggle-switch positions.

• The Neck ($4.2\text{k}$): Wound with 42AWG wire, this is your classic “twang” machine. It delivers the airy, hi-fi clarity and percussive snap that made the original Filtertrons legendary.

• The Bridge ($8\text{k}$): We’ve stepped up to 43AWG wire and increased the windings to create a hotter, more powerful voice. It retains the signature “Tron” definition but adds the mid-range “oomph” and sustain needed for searing leads and saturated overdrive.

Both pickups are powered by a massive 1/4 inch Alnico 5 bar magnet, providing a wider dynamic range and a punchier response than standard, smaller magnets.
